Izabela worked for 10 years for Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates Inc in New York City. While working for MVVA she specialized in all phases of design development, including design studies, historic and material research, site analysis and visualization. She had significant contributions to numerous competitions, including the Obama Presidential Center, University of Toronto, One Vanderbilt, Etobicoke Civic Center, Waller Creek, and others.
She received a Master of Landscape Architecture from Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, Cambridge, USA and She has an extensive background in fine arts and design, holding two master’s degrees in fine arts—one from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Lodz, Poland, and the other from the University of Florida. She is a registered Landscape Architect in the State of New York.
Since 2021, Izabela has been working as a consultant for U.S. firms, including MVVA, and also teaches landscape architecture.
