Izabela is a professional artist and a registered landscape architect in the State of New York.

She believes in the transformative power of nature. She is fascinated with the concept of reintroducing awe-inspiring nature to the urban environment. Her artwork and landscape design explores human-nature relationships, and their importance in personal development.

She received a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design and two Masters Degrees in Fine Arts (from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Lodz, Poland and the University of Florida). She worked for 10 years for Michael van Valkenburgh Associates (MVVA) in New York City, specializing in all phases of design development, including design studies, historic and material research, site analysis and visualization. She had significant contributions to numerous competitions, including the Obama Presidential Center, University of Toronto, One Vanderbilt, Etobicoke Civic Center, Waller Creek, St Louis, Tulsa. She is also a passionate photographer and her photographs were featured in MVVA’s publications, including the book entitled Designing a Garden that received an ASLA award in 2020.

Izabela works as a consultant for U.S. offices, including Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates and also teaches landscape architecture design at the Technion--Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.
